These Terms govern your access to and use of the BrightSmile platform at dentist.helloworldtech.com, operated by Hello World Technologies LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with its registered office at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1What BrightSmile is

BrightSmile is a software-as-a-service platform that lets dental clinics (“Clinics”) publish a booking website and manage appointments, patients, staff and treatments; lets patients (“Patients”) book appointments; and lets approved partners (“Affiliates”) resell subscriptions to Clinics.

We provide software only. We do not provide dental or medical services and are not a party to the relationship between a Clinic and its Patients.

2Accounts and eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Clinic accounts may be used only by the Clinic and its authorised staff. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3Subscriptions, billing and payments

  • Clinics subscribe to a paid plan billed yearly in advance. The exact price, currency and billing interval are shown on the checkout page before you pay.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms, and you authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the subscription and applicable taxes.
  • Charges appear on your card or bank statement as BRIGHTSMILE.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each year at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. We send a reminder by email before each renewal.
  • We may change prices; we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before a change takes effect on your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
  • You are responsible for any taxes, duties or bank charges applicable to your purchase that are not collected at checkout.
  • If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you. We may suspend or downgrade the Clinic’s site and dashboard until payment is resolved.

4Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee and no notice period, from Dashboard → Billing → Cancel subscription, or by emailing support.dentist@helloworldtech.com from the account email address. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your website and dashboard remain fully active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you can resume the subscription at any time before that date.

Your first subscription payment is refundable in full within 14 days of the charge, for any reason. Renewal charges are not refundable, since you can cancel before any renewal to avoid being charged — but we always refund duplicate charges, charges taken after a valid cancellation, and charges affected by a documented failure of the Service, and we honour any refund required by applicable law. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.

Full details, including how long refunds take to arrive, are in our Refunds & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Patient payments. Fees a Patient pays a Clinic for dental treatment are between the Patient and the Clinic and are governed by that Clinic’s own terms — we are not a party to them and do not process them.

5Clinic responsibilities

Each Clinic is solely responsible for: the accuracy of its website content, services, prices and opening hours; complying with all laws and professional and dental regulations in its jurisdiction; obtaining Patient consent and lawfully handling Patient information; and the dental care it provides. In respect of its Patients’ personal data, the Clinic is the data controller and we act as a processor on its behalf (see our Privacy Policy).

6Bookings are between Patient and Clinic

BrightSmile facilitates online booking only. The Clinic — not BrightSmile — is responsible for honouring, rescheduling or cancelling appointments and for all clinical care. Information shown on the Service is not medical advice. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

7Affiliate program

Affiliates must be approved by us, may add and represent only Clinics they are authorised to act for, and must provide accurate information. Any commission arrangement is as agreed separately in writing. We may suspend or remove an Affiliate for misuse, misrepresentation, or breach of these Terms.

8Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service unlawfully or to: infringe others’ rights; upload content you do not have the right to use; transmit harmful, misleading, defamatory or abusive material; send spam; scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service; or attempt to bypass security or access controls.

9Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service and its software. You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. logos, service descriptions, reviews) and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service.

10Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting and database) and privacy-friendly analytics. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

11Availability, warranties and liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.

12Indemnity

Clinics and Affiliates agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising from their content, their patients, the dental care they provide, or their breach of these Terms or of law.

13Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or non-payment. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete associated data after a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

14Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming shall have exclusive jurisdiction — without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.

15Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
